Too long of a rant for Facebook...too short to express how I feel.

First of all, my apologies to anyone that was/is offended by my previous post. Judging by other's posts today, everyone has something to say, whether in agreement, disagreement, or completely neutral, with how I feel. All I will say, is that I am a proud American, who votes for government representatives who I feel are most closely aligned with my beliefs. In the last couple of years, I have not been satisfied with the majority of those who have been elected. However, that very democracy is what has always made this country great. What is extremely disheartening, is watching the government completely neglect to represent the American people, doing what they feel is going to be best (even some genuinely), regardless of what the majority of Americans have to say. That corruption is precisely why Congress has a 19% approval rating. Sure, healthcare needs a "change," but at what expense? This was never a yes or no thing, healthcare should have been deliberated line by line, as a bipartisan effort. This thing should not have passed! This was a gross misuse of power, abuse of a nation, failure of checks and balances, I could go on and on. In a bill that stacks generations worth of debt onto our country, I am outraged at the liberal, borderline socialist, content. This country's average values are not reflective of what we are seeing in Washington! Do you understand, way before today, the Obama administration TRIPLED our national debt in the first 90 days?! These days I reconsider having children, for my children's children will bear our debts and failures. This very post will probably deem me as a "terrorist," and I don't care. Government control needs to be decreased, not increased. I agree with Pelosi on one thing: We are currently living in a historic moment...the only problem is, this moment is ruining the future of our country, and everything it is based on. I will stop at that. If you don't like what I have to say, feel free to block my posts.
